Best Prospects East of the Great Lakes

For you BC and Providence fans out there, here's a list heavy with prep school players. The eastern prep schools, while no doubt proud of their athletic programs, do a lousy job of boasting their top players. I imagine it's to keep their academic image more prominent than their athletic reputation, and I can't say I'd fault them for that philosophy.

A good portion of these kids will play in the QMJHL, but most should opt for the D1 hockey route, if lucky enough to have the opportunity.

Who's posting this list? Where do you get your info from?

Me, and it's accumulated from scouting sites, stat sheets, and opinions from fans posted on message boards and sent to me by email. It's meant to measure hype of potential collegiate recruits.

Wow-Carrocio and Parker are better than any of your top 10 picks. You'll learn before these two get to college.

And since both of them are already committed to colleges, they wouldn't appear on my lists, would they?

How does a defenseman that does not know ow to play defense make the top ten. Russo is terriblle. Did his father buy his way onto this list. The kid cannot play VERY OVER RATED.

You picked a winner in Kyle Hunchberger. I had the opportunity to see him play at School last year (Milton Academy). He has fantastic hands, knows where to be on the ice at all times, and exhibits tons of heart. He seemed to be the most talented player on his team for much of last season, even as a junior. I'm looking forward to following his progress again this year at Milton (I understand there is a GREAT coaching staff there). Although he is a bright kid, with loads of options, it'll be nice to see him continue developing his hockey gifts into College, and possibly the NHL.
Nice pick...good to see someone is paying attention.
