Vince went the extra mile and gave me a Hot 15 list by birthyear. Like Chris's western focus, Vince focused on the players that he's scouted out east. Thanks Vince! More to come tomorrow.

duncan mckellar is no longer on sioux falls, he was released after the fall classic, then picked up by lincoln.

What is the rationale on how these players are listed?

CHRE said...

The criteria I used when requesting the list was for colligiate eligible players of any age or position who, in their opinions, should be receiving the most scholarship offers now or in the near future.

Whoever made this list forgot, or doesn't know, about the midwest players...

Anonymous said...

Not a quality list when you list colin jacobs playing for the Texas Attack. they do not exist anymore.

Anonymous said...

if you read the bottom, the list is of players that I have seen. I I saw Jacobs once last year playing for Texas Attack. I do not see many Mid-west players because I scout the New England area, so unless they come for a tournament, I will not have seen them.

Many Midwest kids coming to the UNH tournament(Fall Beantown). Maybe you can get out and see them then!

Anders Lee-90's who is not on this list is interesting as he has (5) D-1 offers to date as he completes his official visits.

CHRE said...

Anders Lee is not on this list because Vince only scouts out east. He's on two of the other lists.

If you are scouting in the East where is Billy Arnold #1 92 at Massachusetts Festival from Nobles and Andrew Cerretani #1 92 at Yankee New England Festival from Malden Catholic. They both play for the Little Junior Bruins and will be at the Fall Beantown in Exeter, NH and UNH.

CHRE said...

I don't know anything about Cerretani, but Arnold is committed to BC, which is why he isn't on the list.

I have only seen Andrew Cerretani a few times. MA HS hockey is not the best level for developing. Cerretani looked good at the Jr. Bruins Shootout but I would not consider him the top 92 in the area. He needs to move to a higher level of hockey and prove himself there.

duncan mckellar was dropped by lincoln, then picked up by tri city where he is now playing. 3 ushl teams in 3 weeks.

Charlie Coyle (92) Thayer Acad. has committed to BU

What about Connor Sheary '92 Cushing and George Welles ''92 Avon. Both have palyed regularly for the Junior Bruins.

Anonymous said...

Both are good players and will get some looks at Div. 1, but they would not be considered top 92s. Sheary did not play a lot for Cushing last year but with a lot of players leaving, he should be on the top two lines. Welles will have to prove himself at the prep level coming from Cardigan Mt. Like Sheary, a lot of talent has left Avon, so he will need to be able to step-in and produce right away.

Cerratani was asked to visit Harvard last week. He was also invited to BC, BU and UNH. Not sure if he is committed to one yet or not. But heard it will happen soon. He has been playing outside the area for a long time at a higher level (Atl. All Stars & Gulls). We really liked what we saw in Vermont at the festival camp.

Amazing to see Ben Thomson (F) - Mississauga Reps committed to Cornell. This kid is a player! He could still be OHL-bound but here is hoping Cornell can convince him to wait.

Anonymous said...

Cerretani should be on that list - he is a strong player and can handle the puck like very few can. He has talent and as a recruiter, I know we have some interest in him.

Take a look at Stephen Miller '93, had knee surgery recently but has more intensity than any player i've ever seen. Big kid too, catch him with the junior bruins when he comes back

Anonymous said...

Joakie Ryan is absolutly ridiculous, he has no weakness within his game. Really take a look at this kid

Other 93s who may be moving to prep next year:
Josh Dickman F (Cardigan Mt School)
Brian Brown D (Eaglebrook School)
Danny Avellanet F (Florida Panthers)
Corey Hucker F (Nashville Thunder)
Griff Rogers F (Cardigan Mt School)
Tim Wurman F (Acton-Boxboro MA HS)
