BCHL and NAHL Early Stat Leaders

Here are some players who are statistically intriguing to me early on...

NAHL
Rock Einerson (F/90) - Texas
• Currently the league leader in points with 17 in only nine games. Last season, he tallied 29 points in 51 games. That's quite an improvement and probably won't go unnoticed by collgiate coaches.

Beau Walker (F/92) - Corpus Christi
• Another player with limited points last season, Beau still has youth on his side

Nardo Nagtzaam (F/90) - Alexandria
• He better be scoring a lot of points, he's been in the league for a while now. Plus, what a great name!

Zach Vierling (F/90) - Fairbanks
• A smaller player with a a decent amount of points. The thing that sticks out to me is the +12 rating only 10 games into the season!

Cody Freeman (F/91) - Amarillo
• Cody didn't tally a ton of points in the OJHL last season, but his size (6'2"/215) is going to be appealing to somebody if he keeps the scoring up.

BCHL
Mitch Jones (D/91) - Surrey
• Mitch contributed to the scoresheet fairly well last season, but has now stepped it up another notch. He's leading the BCHL in defensive scoring. That, and his size (6'3"/185) makes him interesting to me.

Desty Straight (F/93) - Coquitlam
• Nice size (6'1"/170), young, and lots of scoring... this guy is going to get multiple offers and will probably be in 2011 draft consideration.

Jujhar Khaira (F/94) - Prince George
• Leading the league in rookie scoring, this youngster is already 6'1" and won't be eligible for the NHL draft until 2012!
